Bottlenose dolphins greet us as we head out of the marina. Opportunities are endless! We can boat over to Bolivar and enjoy waterfront dining or explore Pelican Island and the famous shipwreck, the SS Selma, maybe even drop a line in the water. We can check out the industry that the Port of Galveston supports and talk about Texas A&M University at Galveston as we travel towards the Pelican Island bridge. Plan ahead for joining sailboat regattas and other special vessel arrivals/departures, like the USS Texas battleship or the USCG Eagle cutter.
